14 Year Old Alexandria Boy Charged After Knifing Car SD&G OPP Dec 8, 2016

DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION

(North Stormont) – On December 7, 2016 at approximately 8:45am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in the Village of Crysler, North Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male had attended the home of his ex-girlfriend and entered without permission.

The 57-year-old from North Stormont Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Unlawfully in a Dwelling House

He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on December 22, 2016. His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
FAMILY DISPUTE

(North Glengarry) – On December 7, 2016 at approximately 2:53pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a family dispute at a residence in the Town of Alexandria, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between a male youth and family members resulted in the accused causing damage to a vehicle. He was also in contravention of conditions imposed from previous incidents. Upon his arrest, officers seized a knife from the youth.

The 14-year-old from North Glengarry Township is charged with;

– Mischief Under $5000
– Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
– Fail to Comply with Sentence (Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA) – 2 counts)
– Fail to Comply with Recognizance (YCJA – 3 counts)

He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall. His name is being withheld as per provisions of the YCJA.
