UNLAWFUL USE OF A CREDIT CARD, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 13-year-old and 18-year-old youth both from Cornwall were arrested and charged with unlawful use of a credit card. The 18-year-old was also charged with breach of a youth probation order for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on December 2nd, 2016 they used a debit card that did not belong to them for various purchases and police were contacted to investigate. They were taken into custody during the investigation, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Their names were not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Ronald Savard, 56 and Symphony Pierce, 23 both of Cornwall were arrested as a result of a warrant and charged as follows:

Symphony Pierce

  • Possession of marihuana
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking marihuana
  • Possession of a prohibited weapon x 3 counts
  • Preach of probation x 3 counts
  • Possession of property obtained by crime
  • Possession of hydromorphone
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking hydromorphone
  • Possession of oxycontin
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking oxycontin
  • Possession of Nabilone

Ronald Savard

  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking Marijuana
  • Possession of a prohibited weapon x3
  • Breach of prohibition order x3
  • Property obtained by crime
  • Possession of Hydromorphone
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking Hydromorphone
  • Possession of Oxycontin
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking Oxycontin
  • Possession of Nabilone

It is alleged on December 20th, 2016 members the Cornwall Street Crime Unit executed a drug warrant at a Montreal Road residence and located a quantity of illegal drugs, Canadian currency, brass knuckles and knives. During the investigation both were taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Devin Walker-Boettger, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on January 18th, 2017 on the strength of warrants. It is alleged the man failed to attend court and warrants were issued for his arrest. On January 18th, 2017 the man was located by police and taken into custody on the strength of the warrants after a brief foot chase in the area of Bryden Avenue. He was also found to be in breach of a recognizance for not abiding by house arrest and being in possession of a cell phone. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 22-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 18th, 2017 and charged with breach of probation for communicating with someone he has conditions not to communicate with, being within 100 meters of her residence and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on January 18th, 2017 the man was found to be at his ex-girlfriend’s residence despite his conditions. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on February 21st, 2017. His name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.
