#OPP Charge Cornwall Woman in Domestic in S Dundas MAY 23, 2017

DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION

 

 

(North Glengarry)- On May 20, 2017 at approximately 1:14 am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a business on Main street North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male had assaulted his girlfriend and damaged her belongings.

 

An adult male (32) from Penetanguishene, Ontario was arrested and is charged with:

 

–              Assault

–         Mischief

 

 

The Male was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on June 27th 2017. The names of the accused persons are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.

 

 

DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION

 

(South Dundas)- On May 20, 2017 at approximately 2:36 am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on County Road 18, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an adult female had assaulted her ex-boyfriend and damaged his belongings.

 

An adult female (29) from Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and is charged with:

 

–          Assault

–        Mischief – Under $5000

–          Unlawfully in dwelling House

 

 

The female was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on June 13th 2017. The names of the accused persons are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STOLEN VEHICLE

 

 

(South Dundas) – On May 20, 2017 at approximately 8:07am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a Motor Vehicle from a residence on County Road 18, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that sometime between May 19-20, 2017, a 2009 Silver Dodge Caravan with Ontario Licence Plate (BNZV081) was removed from the property.

 

An investigation continues.

 

 

 

TRAFFIC STOP RESULTS IN CHARGES

 

(South Dundas) – On May 21, 2017 at approximately 8:40am, Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officer had the occasion to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation on Carman Road, South Dundas Township. A check of the male driver revealed his driving privileges disqualified stemming from previous driving related offences.

 

Jesse FOSTER (32) of North Grenville, Ontario was arrested and is charged with:

 

– Drive Disqualified

 

He was released and scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on July 11, 2017.

 

 

EXCESSIVE SPEEDS

 

 

(South Dundas/North Dundas) – On May 21-22, 2017, SD&G Ontario Provincial Police officers conducted speed measuring enforcement on Highway 401, South Dundas Township and County Road 3, North Dundas Township and intercepted the following vehicles for travelling at excessive speeds. The vehicles were impounded and the drivers’ permits seized for seven (7) days in accordance with policy.

 

– May 21, 2017 – 8:54pm (North Dundas): vehicle stopped travelling 133km/h (80km/h zone). Male driver (18) from South Dundas, Ontario was charged accordingly.

 

– May 22, 2017 – 11:02am (South Dundas): vehicle stopped travelling 157km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (20) from Oakville, Ontario was charged accordingly.

 

– May 22, 2017 – 2:02pm (South Dundas): vehicle stopped travelling 160km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (38) from Montreal, Quebec was charged accordingly

 

– May 22, 2017 – 2:52pm (South Dundas): vehicle stopped travelling 155km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (51) from Toronto, Ontario was charged accordingly
