(Prescott, ON.) – Members of the Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) , the East Region Emergency Response Team and the Organized Crime Enforcement Unit (OCEB) executed a search warrant at a George Street residence, in Prescott on May 24th, 2017. At this location, police seized property that had been identified as being stolen from recent break and enters and thefts from vehicles, in the Prescott and Augusta Township areas. Police additionally seized a quantity of drugs. Four people were charged in relation to this warrant and they include :
Jamin CROWDER, age 19 of Prescott, charged with:
- Possession of a schedule II substance -marihuana, under 30grams
- Possession of a schedule I substance – other drugs
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00 (x2)
Courtland MERKLEY, age 21 of Prescott, charged with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine
- Possession of a schedule II substance -marihuana, under 30grams
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00
Brook SHEDRICK, age 18 of Prescott, charged with :
- Possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine
- Possession of a schedule II substance -marihuana, under 30grams
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00
Reese WILLIAMS, age 18 of Edwardsburgh Township, charged with :
- Possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine
- Possession of a schedule II substance -marihuana, under 30grams
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on July 7th , 2017.
