Cornwall Police Charge Williamstown Man After Text Message MAY 30, 2017

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old Williamstown man was arrested on May 29th, 2017 and charged with breach of undertaking for having communicated with his sisters and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on May 20th, 2017 the man indirectly contacted them by way of a text message and police were contacted to investigate. On May 29th, 2017 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

FAIL TO ATTEND FOR PRINTS

Cornwall, ON – Mohammad El Fechtali, 45 of Saint-Laurent, QC was arrested on May 29th, 2017 and charged with failing to attend for prints. It is alleged the man failed to attend for prints on April 10th, 2017 and an investigation ensued. On May 29th, 2017 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.
