WARRANT EXECUTED – DRUGS SEIZED
(North Dundas) On September 15 2017, members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Community Street Crime Unit and SD&G OPP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Search Warrant on a residence on Levere Road, North Dundas Township. This resulted in the seizure of, a quantity of, Marihuana and Cocaine.
Nancy SWEENEY (52) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for purpose of trafficking
Sweeney was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on October 10, 2017.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(North Dundas) – On September 13, 2017 at approximately 8:56am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that altercation had taken place between a male and his ex-girlfriend resulting in the male assaulting the female. Further investigation revealed that the male had caused damage to her property.
A 58-year-old male from The Nation, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault
– Mischief (2 counts)
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on October 3, 2017. His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(North Dundas) – On September 14, 2017 at approximately 1:11pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that altercation had taken place between a male and his ex-girlfriend resulting in the male taking the females vehicle without her consent. A check of the male driver revealed his driving privileges disqualified stemming from previous driving related offences.
A 33-year-old male from North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Take Motor Vehicle without Consent
– Drive Disqualified
– Fail to Comply with conditions of a Probation Order
He was held in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall. His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(South Dundas) – On September 13, 2017 at approximately 12:56pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that altercation had taken place between a female and her husband resulting in the female assaulting the female.
A 29-year-old female from South Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault
She was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on October 3, 2017.
Her name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim
