Ottawa Police Charge 2 in Armstrong St. Marijuana Dispensary Bust 101717

Drug seizures at another Ottawa marihuana dispensary

         

(Ottawa) — On Oct 13th 2017, the Ottawa Police Service Drug Unit executed a warrant at another illegal marihuana dispensary.

The warrant was conducted at:

*       233 Armstrong St

Items seized from the illegal storefront included:

*       Marihuana

*       THC Concentrate (“Shatter”)

*       Edibles in various forms

*       Cash

Two people (1 male 45 years old and 1 female 24 years old) were arrested and charged with a variety of offences, including:

*       Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking

*       Possession of Proceeds of Crime

They were released from custody on Promises to Appear and Undertakings.

The investigation into illegal marihuana dispensaries is ongoing.

“We continue to stress that there is no “grey area” when it comes to storefront marihuana dispensaries” said S/Sgt Rick Carey. “They are and will continue to be illegal operations. We will investigate dispensaries as complaints come forward.”

  1. The socialist left choking out free enterprise to drive a black market after legalization to ensure that police budgets are not clawed back to reasonable sustainable levels.
