OLG Ganonoque Shorelines Jackpot Winner Charged by #OPP 110217

(LEEDS, ON.) -Members of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing a joint investigation with casino investigators after an incident at Thousand Islands Casino.

On the October 27, 2017 at about 1:45 A.M. Leeds and the Thousand Islands O.P.P. officers were called to the Shorelines Casino in Leeds and the Thousand Islands Township. Investigation revealed that a female had won a $26,000 Jackpot and then tried to claim the prize using another person’s identification as she was not to be in that casino.

53 year old Yim MAN of Markham faces charges of Personation, and Cause or Attempt to use a Forged Document. Both are contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

Further charged is 49 year old Chung Yuk TSEUNG of North York who faces a Personation charge contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

Both females are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Provincial Division in Brockville on December 15, 2017 to answer to their charges.



The investigation continues with the assistance of Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
