(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service is investigating three commercial break and enters and is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect responsible.

On October 7, 2017, at approximately 3:16 am, a suspect unlawfully entered a commercial premise situated along the 1000 block of St. Laurent Boulevard by throwing a rock through the storefront window.



On November 9, 2017, at approximately 2:10 am., the same male smashed the window to another business along the 1000 block of St. Laurent Boulevard.

Finally, on November 15, 2017, at approximately 4:25 am., the suspect targeted another commercial business along the 300 block of Coventry Road. Once again, the suspect broke a window to the business by throwing a rock through a storefront window.

In all three incidents, the suspect targeted the cash register of the involved businesses.

Extensive damage was caused by the suspect during the course of the break and enters to the businesses. There is information that leads investigators to believe that the person responsible resides in the area.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 35-45 years old, medium to heavy build. The male was last seen wearing a red coat with black trimming, and jeans (see attached images.)
