Cornwall Community Police Service Blotter for FEBRUARY 15, 2018

IMPAIRED, REFUSAL

Cornwall, ON – Daniel Boudrias, 41 of Cornwall was arrested on February 14th, 2018 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and refusal. It is alleged on February 14th, 2018 the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Cumberland Street and Thirteenth Street West. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop and refused to provide a sample of his breath. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 1st, 2018.

 

BREACHES

Cornwall, ON – Kaila Clements, 31 of Cornwall, was arrested on February 14th, 2018.  She is currently bound by a recognizance order with the relevant conditions to not contact or be within 100 metres of a certain person, and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on February 14th, 2018, the female was found to be in the company of someone contrary to conditions of her recognizance. She was subsequently charged with breach of recognizance and was held for a bail hearing.

 

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old Ottawa man was arrested on February 14th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation order by failing to keep the peace, as well as breached his recognizance by driving a motor vehicle, failing to abide by a curfew and not residing at an address indicated in his conditions. It is alleged the male also criminally harassed his ex-girlfriend by repeatedly communicating with her. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On February 14th, 2018, the male was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

 

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Quincy O’Shea, 19 of Kemptville was arrested on February 15th, 2018 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on February 15th, 2018 the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Brookdale Avenue. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 1st, 2018.

 

There were 36 calls for service in the City of Cornwall in the last 24 hours (8am the previous day to 8am the day of the release).
