Cornwall Man Charged after Assaulting Wife & Threatening Mother In Law 032218

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Daniel Cook, 32, of St. Andrew’s West was arrested on March 21st, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on January 20th, 2017 the man failed to stop for police and drove in a dangerous manner and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 21st, 2018, a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service attended the Cornwall Courthouse as the male was held in custody on an unrelated matter. The man was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Sebastien Tremblay, 30, of Cornwall was arrested on March 21st, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on March 15th, 2018 for a theft charge and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on April 26th, 2018.



ASSAULT, MISCHIEF, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 21st, 2018 and charged with assault, threats and mischief. It is alleged between March 2017-2018 the man threatened his mother-in-law and assaulted his wife. It is also alleged the man damaged a computer in the residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 21st, 2018, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victims in the matter.
