THEFT UNDER, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Symphony Pierce, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on March 29th, 2018 and charged with theft under and breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on March 24th, 2018 the woman attended a Second Street East store and removed property making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 29th, 2018 the woman was located and was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Marc Racine, 42, of St. Andrews was arrested on March 29th, 2018 and charged with theft under, breach of recognizance for failing to remain in his residence when not accompanied by his surety, as well as breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on January 31st, 2018 and February 5th, 2018 the man attended a Second Street East store and removed property, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 29th, 2018 the man was located and was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

THREATS, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 30th, 2018 and charged with threats and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on March 28th, 2018 the man threatened to harm his ex-common-law wife and police were contacted to investigate. On March 30th, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Jeffrey Berube, 53, of Cornwall was arrested on March 30th, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance for communicating with someone known to have a criminal record and for associating with someone known to be a member of an organized motorcycle club. It is alleged on March 18th, 2018 the man was seen in breach of his conditions by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service and an investigation ensued. On March 30th, 2018 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Jason Larose, 40, of Cornwall was arrested on March 30th, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance for failing to notify a change of address to police. It is alleged the man was found to be in breach of his conditions when police attended his residence to investigate an unrelated matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jordon Pharand, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on March 31st, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged while investigating an unrelated matter, police took the man into custody on the strength of a warrant for a fraud that occurred between March 4-5th, 2018. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 32-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 31st, 2018 and charged with assault. He was also charged with breach of undertaking for being within 50 metres of his girlfriend, for communicating with his girlfriend, for failing to notify police of a change of address, and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument on March 30th, 2018 the man assaulted his girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. On March 31st, 2018, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Damian Heasler, 27, of Kingston was arrested on March 31st, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance for being out past curfew and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on March 31st, 2018 while investigating a suspicious person call, police found the man in breach of his conditions. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 1st, 2018.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Caitlin Cameron, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on March 31st, 2018 and charged with assault. It is alleged on March 31st, 2018 the intoxicated woman assaulted a man and woman who were known to her and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 1st, 2018.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Richard Massia, 28, of Cornwall was arrested on April 1st, 2018 and charged with failing to attend for prints, as well as breach of recognizance for failing to report to police. It is alleged the man failed to attend for prints on March 19th, 2018 and also failed to report to police between February 1st, 2018 and March 15th, 2018 despite his conditions. On April 1st, 2018 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

DANGEROUS OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

Cornwall, ON – Izaiah-Justice Seguin, 19, of Cornwall was arrested on April 2nd, 2018 and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. It is alleged on March 24th, 2018 the man was operating a motor vehicle in a dangerous manner in the area of Water Street East. On April 2nd, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 3rd, 2018.



There were 230 calls for service in the City of Cornwall over the long weekend (8am Thursday to 8am Tuesday morning).
