Student Charged With Damaging School Wall in Cornwall Ontario #CCPS 040618

MISCHIEF, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Lancaster youth was arrested on April 5th, 2018 and charged with mischief and breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on March 29th, 2018 the youth damaged a wall at his school and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Marc Fournier, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on April 5th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation order and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 5th, 2018 the man was located by police, taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on May 3rd, 2018.



BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on April 5th, 2018 and charged with breach of undertaking for communicating with her ex-boyfriend and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on March 14th, 2018 the woman attended the residence of her ex-boyfriend and police were contacted to investigate. On April 5th, 2018 the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.

There were 39 calls for service in the City of Cornwall in the last 24 hours (8am the previous day to 8am the day of the release).
