COUNTERFEIT MONEY, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Jody Burgess, 49, of Cornwall was arrested on April 10th, 2018 and charged with uttering counterfeit money and breach of probation for attending a certain location and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on January 2nd, 2018 the man attended a Water Street business, despite his conditions, and gave clerks two counterfeit $20 American bills. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 10th, 2018 police located the man. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 15th, 2018.

THEFT UNDER, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Sarah Bombardier, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on April 10th, 2018 and charged with theft under $5000, breach of probation and breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on April 10th, 2018 the woman attended a Ninth Street store and removed merchandise making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. She was stopped by the Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted to investigate. The woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 3rd, 2018.



POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, BREACH, POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Cornwall, ON – Adam Lacoste-Marshall, 26, and Brittany Mussgnug, 28, of Cornwall were both arrested on April 10th, 2018 and charged with possession of methamphetamine (speed) and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. The man was also charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine. It is alleged they were found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine during a traffic stop on April 10th, 2018. Both were taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 1st, 2018.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Ryan White, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on April 10th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to appear for prints on November 16th, 2017 for a break and enter charge and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 10th, 2018 a member of the Kingston Police Service located the man and had him in custody on the strength of Cornwall’s warrant. He was transported to Cornwall and held for a bail hearing.
