Cornwall Ontario – As budgets rise the city has been hit with another emergency water main break.
CFN is just starting to get info from the City of Cornwall again after some drama and childish antics via CAO Maureen Adams and new Public Information Officer Emma Meldrum.
We’re hoping that the City will resume to send releases as they have for years shortly and apologize for any delays in getting you the news you want from the newspaper you love!
Who’s working at fixing this? The striking city employees?
I saw what happened. A company in our area hired by Bell Canada was drilling under water street, im not sure why, but the same guys were drilling to install fiber optic lines here on Augustus street not long ago. Anyway they’re drilling away all day, next thing you know water street and augustus street are flooded with water. Thank god it wasnt a gas line. Im positive they drilled right into it
