#CCPS Cornwall Community Police Service Blotter for Tuesday June 26, 2018

WARRANT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Sebastien Tremblay, 30, of Cornwall was arrested on June 25th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. The man allegedly failed to report to police on June 13th, 2018, despite conditions of his recognizance. It is further alleged the man failed to attend court on June 14th, 2018 for theft charges and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was located by police on June 25th, 2018, was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

THEFT UNDER $5000, PERSONATION, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Richard Touchette, 56, of Vanier was arrested on June 24th, 2018 and charged with theft under $5000, personation and breach of recognizance for possessing alcohol and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on June 23rd, 2018 the man attended a Second Street East store and removed two bottles of liquor, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 24th, 2018 he was taken into custody and identified himself as someone else to police. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Justine Jacobs, 33, of Akwesasne was arrested on June 25th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on June 20th, 2018 for a dangerous operation of a motor vehicle charge and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On June 25th, 2018 she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
