FAIL TO ATTEND FOR PRINTS, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Aaron Collins, 30, of Cornwall was arrested on August 28th, 2018 and charged with fail to appear for prints and breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the man failed to appear for prints on August 15th, 2018 and an investigation ensued. On August 28th, 2018 police located the man. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Dylan Jarvis, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on August 28th, 2018 and charged with possession of marijuana, as well as breach of probation for being in possession of drugs and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during a traffic stop on August 28th, 2018, the man was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 9th, 2018.
CARE AND CONTROL, OVER 80, DOMESTIC ASSAULT, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Morrisburg woman was arrested on August 28th, 2018 and charged with care and control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, over 80, domestic assault, and breach of recognizance for being outside her residence with alcohol in her body. It is alleged on August 28th, 2018 the intoxicated woman struck her common-law husband while together in a motor vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the woman was found to be in care and control of the motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Eleventh Street West. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 11th, 2018. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim.
WARRANT, POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Anson Jacco, 53, of Cornwall was arrested on August 28th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. He was also charged with the following:
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of methamphetamine (speed)
• Possession of codeine
• Breach of recognizance (for failing to appear for all court appearances)
• Breach of probation (for possessing unlawful drugs and failing to keep the peace)
It is alleged the man, who was known to be wanted for failing to attend court, was located on August 28th, 2018. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana, methamphetamine and codeine. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
