(NORTH GLENGARRY,ON) – Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers attended the scene of a two (2) vehicle collision at the intersection of County Road 20 and County Road 24, North Glengarry Township.
Preliminary investigation has indicated that at approximately 5:13pm on October 30,2018, a motorcycle was travelling Northbound on County Road 20 when, for reasons under investigation, a passenger vehicle travelling Southbound turned towards County Road 24 and collided with the northbound motorcycle.
The male driver Andrew CHISHOLM (59) of North Glengarry, Ontario was pronounced deceased at scene.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was un-injured.
SD&G OPP continue to investigate the collision with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI).
A section of County Road 20 and County Road 24, North Glengarry Township was closed to traffic but had since been re-opened.
