Lauzon Charged With Mischief in Cornwall Ontario #CCPS 121218

THEFT OVER $5000

Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old Ottawa man was arrested on December 11th, 2018 and charged with theft over $5000. It is alleged the man accessed funds from his father’s bank account and police were contacted to investigate. On December 11th, 2018, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 17th, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Corene Deer, 38, of Cornwall was arrested on December 11th, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance for failing to report and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the woman failed to report on December 5th, 2018, despite her conditions, and an investigation ensued. On December 11th, 2018, the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Jonathan Lauzon, 32, of Cornwall was arrested on December 11th, 2018 and charged with mischief under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the man threw an object at a Water Street building, causing damage, and police were contacted to investigate. On December 11th, 2018, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
