Breaking Bad in Cornwall Ontario! 3 Charged in Crystal Meth Bust 031419

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 13th, 2019 and charged with breach of recognizance for failing to abide by his curfew. It is alleged the youth was found breaching his conditions and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING METHAMPHETAMINE & CRYSTAL METHAMPHETAMINE, POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – As a result of an ongoing investigation by the CPS Street Crime Unit, 3 individuals, all of Cornwall, were arrested on March 13th, 2019 and charged as follows:

Shawnna Chartrand, 26

• Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking crystal methamphetamine

Anthony Delciancio, 40

• Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking crystal methamphetamine
• Breach of probation (for failing to keep the peace)

Ryan Royer, 25

• Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking crystal methamphetamine
• Possession of property obtained by crime
• Breach of probation (for failing to keep the peace)
• Breach of probation (for possessing drugs)

It is alleged during a traffic stop on March 13th, 2019, the individuals named above were found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine pills and crystal methamphetamine. One man was also found to be in possession of a quantity of Canadian currency. All three individuals were taken into custody and charged accordingly. Anthony Delciancio and Shawnna Chartrand were released to appear in court on April 23rd, 2019, and Ryan Royer was held for a bail hearing.
