4 Men Charged In Ottawa Drug Deal 2 Guns Seized – Feb 1, 2018

Two handguns seized, four men charged with drug trafficking

(Ottawa) – Four men have been charged with weapons and drug offences after Ottawa Police Drug officers conducted a high-risk takedown of a vehicle last evening in the city’s west end.

At about 8 pm, officers observed drug transactions taking place from a vehicle in the area of Tillbury Avenue, near Churchill Avenue, and moved in to arrest the four occupants.

All four suspects fled. After a brief foot pursuit, three of the suspects were arrested without incident, however, the fourth suspect resisted and a struggle ensued before he was taken into custody.

When searched, one of the suspects was found in possession of crack cocaine, marihuana and a loaded semi-automatic handgun.
