Major car accident Highway 138 transport and a car head-on. The roads blocked traffic backed up for miles. It’s almost at the bridge just north of Quail Road

The front of the transport is messed up there’s a car sideways in the northbound lane and the transport is about 100 ft off the road on the West Side. Thankfully it happened before the bridge
That would have been the view of the truck driver going south. Where the exes is right where the accident happened just says the 3920 Highway 148 just before the bridge

It looks like the truck was heading south the car was heading north. The car is still in the northbound lane but sideways would two cars behind it. I don’t know if they were involved in the accident or not? And the transport is spacing Southwest about a hundred feet off the road with his front end showing that he was going south. And there’s damage to the front end of the truck

MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION – ROADWAY CLOSED
(SOUTH STORMONT,ON) – Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently at the scene of a two (2) vehicle collision on Highway 138 (between Quail Road and McDonald Road), South Stormont Township.
Preliminary investigation has indicated that at approximately 10:08am, a passenger vehicle was travelling northbound on Highway 138 when, for reasons under investigation, crossed into the South bound lane and collided head-on with a Southbound tractor trailer. The adult male driver (lone occupant) of the northbound passenger vehicle was taken to hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries. The tractor trailer driver (lone occupant) was taken to hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries.
SD&G OPP continue to process the scene.
UPDATE 4:10PM From the OPP
As the investigation continues, a section of Highway 138 between Quail Road and McDonald Road is closed to traffic with indicated detours in place.
