T Storm ALERT for the Cornwall Ontario Area – Possible Tornadoes in Area 082918

Cornwall Ontario – Eastern Ontario is about to get a whupping from Mother Nature including TORNADO warnings in the Newington and Winchester areas nearby.

Please use caution and do not wear tin foil hats until the all clear is given or the zappy thing ports you safely to Nurbital.

We will update as silly people who don’t heed the warnings and end up looking…silly.  Please take your animals inside, especially dogs and puppies because they are cuter than most others, especially Dachshunds like the ones my Lily and Fitzy just created!

Isn’t Little Fitzy cute?

Please take care and mind the storm so that everyone is safe and can keep reading The Cornwall Free News.

The good news is that this should cool things down and take the humidity out of the air so everyone can have an awesome time this weekend at the 151st Stormont County Fair!

See you there!

If you see any sites of mayhem and destruction please email them to info@cornwallfreenews.com

Tornado warning in effect for:

At 1:35 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible.

Radar indicates a tornado may be forming about 10 kilometers northeast of Kemptville moving eastwards at 50 kilometres per hour.

This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. If you hear a roaring sound or see a funnel cloud, swirling debris near the ground, flying debris, or any threatening weather approaching, take shelter immediately.

Go indoors to a room on the lowest floor, away from outside walls and windows, such as a basement, bathroom, stairwell or interior closet. Leave mobile homes, vehicles, tents, trailers and other temporary or free-standing shelter, and move to a strong building if you can. As a last resort, lie in a low spot and protect your head from flying debris.

  1. Yes little Fitzie is very cute and so much like his daddy. I laughed and laughed myself to pieces when I got off CFN thinking about the idiot in the clique thinking that I was you Jamie. The same thing happened some years ago and I am roaring with laughter at my end. I can’t stop laughing at those idiots who think like that. Cornwall is Cornwall like one man said to hubby it will never change.

  2. What is funny is that I thought about Fitzie Sr. and Fitzie Jr. today and yes the little fellow looks so much like his daddy. I was wondering how the puppies are doing and this little fellow is sure growing. Jamie the pupps must be keeping you very busy along with Fitzie himself.
