Ring Thieving in Cornwall Ontario #CCPS 010419

THEFT UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Chelsea Kelly, 30, of Ottawa was arrested on January 3rd, 2019 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on November 16th, 2019, while at the residence of a woman known to her, Chelsea Kelly took a ring that did not belong to her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On January 3rd, 2019, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on February 12th, 2019.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – A 65-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 3rd, 2019 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged the man damaged multiple items in his ex-wife’s residence and police were contacted to investigate. On January 3rd, 2019, with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police, the man was located. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and will appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

FAIL TO ATTEND FOR PRINTS

Cornwall, ON – Daniel O’Brien, 31, of Alexandria was arrested on January 3rd, 2019 and charged with failing to attend for prints. It is alleged the man failed to attend for prints on December 24th, 2018 and an investigation ensued. On January 3rd, 2019, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 17th, 2019.
