Cornwall Police Charge COREY DENNISON Cruelty, Beastiality, & Killing Kittens #CCPS 012119

ROBBERY, THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kevin Ingola, 23, and Dustin O’Byrne, 23, both of Cornwall, were arrested on January 18th, 2019 and charged as follows:

Kevin Ingola:
• Robbery
• Theft under $5000
• Breach of probation (for failing to notify a change of address and failing to keep the peace)
• Breach of recognizance (for contacting a certain person, failing to notify a change of address and failing to keep the peace)

Dustin O’Byrne:
• Robbery
• Breach of probation (failing to keep the peace and failing to notify a change of address)
• Breach of undertaking (for contacting a certain person, failing to notify a change of address, and failing to keep the peace)

It is alleged on January 6th, 2019, Kevin Ingola attended the residence of a man known to him and removed electronics without his permission. It is further alleged on January 16th, 2019, both men attended the same residence, made threats to kill the man, removed other electronics and fled the area. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On January 18th, 2019, both men were located by police and were found in breach of their conditions. They were taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

FRAUD UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 18th, 2019 and charged with fraud under $5000 x 8, as well as breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged throughout July 2018, the man provided his ex-girlfriend with multiple fraudulent checks to deposit and withdraw the cash for him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On January 18th, 2019, the man was taken into custody, was charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on February 19th, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Brandon Bradley, 42, of Akwesasne was arrested on January 19th, 2019 and charged with breach of recognizance for being outside of his residence without his surety. It is alleged the man attended the Port of Entry on January 19th, 2019, without his surety, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Tammy Mertes, 49, of Cornwall was arrested on January 19th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman removed merchandise from a Ninth Street business on October 13th, 2017, making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On January 19th, 2019, the woman was located by police. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on February 28th, 2019.

CRUELTY TO ANIMALS, KILLING AN ANIMAL, BESTIALITY, CAUSE INJURY TO ANIMALS, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Corey Dennison, 29, of Cornwall was arrested January 20th, 2019 and charged with the following:

• Killing an animal
• Cruelty to animals
• Bestiality
• Cause injury to animals
• Breach of probation for failing to keep the peace

It is alleged in 2018, the man recorded multiple videos of himself injuring and causing suffering to multiple kittens. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On January 20th, 2019, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 75-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 20th, 2019 and charged with assault and threats. It is alleged between December 2018 and January 2019, the man assaulted his ex-wife and made threats to kill her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

There were 114 calls for service in the City of Cornwall in over the weekend (8am Friday to 8am Monday morning).
