BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 36-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 12th, 2019 and charged with breach of recognizance for contacting and being within 100 metres of his ex-girlfriend and for attending her residence. It is alleged on March 10th, 2019 the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On March 12th, 2019, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING METHAMPHETAMINE, POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, CARELESS STORAGE OF A FIREARM, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – As a result of an ongoing investigation by the CPS Street Crime Unit, Tyler Fournier, 18, of Cornwall was arrested on March 12th, 2019 and charged with the following:

• Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine
• Unauthorized possession of a firearm
• Careless storage of a firearm
• Possession of property obtained by crime
• Breach prohibition order for possessing a firearm
• Breach probation x 2 for possessing drugs and failing to keep the peace

It is alleged the man was operating a motor vehicle on March 12th, 2019 and when stopped by police, was found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine and Canadian currency. Police also located a shotgun in the vehicle. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CREDIT CARD X 3, POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME X 4, THEFT UNDER $5000 X 2, BREACH X 3

Cornwall, ON – Kyle Sauve, 27, of Cornwall was arrested on March 12th, 2019 and charged with the following:

• Unlawful possession of a credit card x 3
• Possession of property obtained by crime x 4
• Theft under $5000 x 2
• Breach of undertaking x 3 (for failing to keep the peace)

It is alleged on February 25th, 2019, the man was in possession of multiple bank cards that had been reported stolen from a motor vehicle. The man used the bank cards at a local convenience store on three occasions. It is further alleged on March 8th, 2019, the man attended a Brookdale Avenue and Second Street East business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left either store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 12th, 2019, police located the man. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Serenitee Cadieux, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on March 13th, 2019 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged the woman was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Second Street West and Yates Avenue and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 28th, 2019.
