AMPS & OPP (ROPE SQUAD) Arrest MITCHELL JOCKO in Gatineau QC

 

Akwesasne – The Akwesasne Mohawk Police and the Ontario ROPE squad have arrested Mitchell Jocko (36) without incident in Gatineau, Quebec. The arrest occurred this past Tuesday (April 24, 2018) morning.

Mitchell Jocko was wanted on arrest warrants for aggravated assault. Akwesasne Mohawk Police have charged Jocko for two separate incidents that occurred within the same week in early February 2018.

The Joint Investigation Team learned that Jocko had moved away from the area to avoid arrest. A joint investigation into his whereabouts led police to believe he was staying in Gatineau.

The two other subjects that were involved in the incident have yet to be arrested. Corby Jock (31) and Johnny Adams (31) remain wanted by police for the same offense.

The Akwesasne Mohawk Police Chief Shawn Dulude was pleased with the assistance provided in this investigation by multiple agencies assisting in the arrest were members of the Ontario Provincial Police, Ottawa and Gatineau Police Services.
