Cornwall ON - We’ll be talking with Mr. Bob Copeland, organizer of The 11th Annual South Stormont Chamber of Commerce Trade Show taking place this weekend at the Long Sault Arena Friday April 30 & Saturday May 1 LIVE on Seawayradio.com from 1:15 PM today!

Admission is FREE and there are over 60 Vendors and merchants along with tons of activities.  It’s a family friendly event with free chocolate milk for the kids, and some amazing displays like Rudy Tabak’s 16×24 Model Train set up and a mechanical cow from the Ontario Dairy Producers that actually can be milked!

Show Hours on Friday April 30th are 6-9 PM and on Saturday May 1 9-5 PM!

Some of the participants and displays that will be present include Benson Automotive, St. Lawrence Parks, Cars from KIA , Wine makers & Wineries,  Shannoncourt Kennels, Investment Companies, Home Improvement companies, Lawyers, Building Contractors, Personnel Care companies, Spas, Travel Agents.  Just about something for everyone!

There’ll even be Roasted BBQ Pork Sandwiches and more to munch on!  Coffey’s Coffee, one of the only Coffee Roasters in the region will be on site as well.   You have to check out Reg Coffey’s Tanzanian Peaberry; probably one of the finest brews I’ve had in the area!

And for you technology minded people interested in learning more Tron Data & Computers will be there as well!

Admission is free and there are tons of things to do and see for the whole family including the kids!  A Mechanical Cow from the Ontario Milk Processors.  Kids get chocolate milk for free.  There even will be exterior vendors and displays.

The Fire Department, Ontario Provincial Police, and Ontario Power Generation who’ll have a working display.

Long Sault is minutes from Cornwall Ontario.  Exit from Highway 401 and take just off of Highway number 2.  It’s a great day trip from Montreal, Ottawa and even from over the Border.

Cornwall ON – The Cornwall Spring Home & Leisure show opens today, Friday March 26, 2010 at the Cornwall Civic Complex (100 Water Street).

Doors open at 4 PM and Seawayradio.com will be broadcasting LIVE from the event starting at 4PM and be back Saturday and Sunday!

The Cornwall Spring Home & Leisure show goes from 4-9 PM today, and then 10AM – 8 PM on Saturday and 10AM -4 PM on Sunday.

There are over 100 exhibitors and special features.

Benson’s is hosting a NASCAR Simulator in Salon B of the Complex.  For a minimum donation of $2 to Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Cornwall you can ride the simulator for two minutes and get an adrenalin rush!

Christal from ZUMBA will be getting your blood moving too and special guests Gardening Guru Tom Cullen will bemaking an appearance too!

The weather will be perfect for a ride in the country or get away.   Bring the whole family!  Admission is only $4 for adults and your ticket is also good for prizes!  Students and Seniors only pay $3 and children under 12 and accompanied by an adult get in free!

Cornwall Square is hosting free Art Workshops for Children all Spring Break.   Face painting, beading, and all sorts of activities are hosted by the local Focus Arts group on the second floor.   It’s a lot of fun and a great idea to keep the kids busy during their spring break!

I want to try the Egg Decorating one, but sadly I’m a tad too old!  The Workshops are open to children from 4-15 years of age and run until Friday March 19.

What a wonderful opportunity to get some shopping done and have fun at the same time!

Montreal’s been partying since Sunday, but as Thomas Mulcair pointed out to me in our Monday interview today, Wednesday is the official day!   There are lots of festivities around the area.    Check out Moustache Joe’s and Schnitzels for some local revelry!
