Busy night for Hockey Fans in Canada. The Habs should’ve slicked back the Oilers, but held on to win in the shoot out. Andrei Markov led the way with 3 points and plus 2 for the evening, but the game should never have been this close.
Tomas Plekanec opened the scoring with his 20th [...]

Good gosh does Tomas Plekanec not only want to stay with the Montreal Canadiens but be their Captain? Last night TP (you know, TP because he wipes the opposition) wiped the Anaheim Ducks as he led their comeback from a 3-0 Carey Priceless first period performance.
I can’t think how much clearer it can be [...]

Jaroslav Halak was back in nets for Montreal and the trio of Scott Gomez, Brian Gionta, and Benoit Pouliot racked up two points each as the Habs slip back to eighth spot in the Conference. It’s pretty simple for Montreal. Win every game and you’ll get in the play offs!
The Habs were playing without Maxim [...]

You can’t give Messers Marleau, Heatley, or anyone really in the NHL 5+ shots on goal per game and expect to win. The Habs gave a gritty performance, but it wasn’t quite enough as they lost to the San Jose Sharks 3-2 in regulation time. Carey Price took the loss which means it [...]

The Price was right last night as the Habs cashed in a win against rival Boston Bruins 4-1 – Habs goals were from the returning Benoit Pouliot, Matt Darche, Maxime Lapierre, and Glen Metropolit. The Canadiens made a minor trade in sending Matt D’Agostini for a bag of used hockey pucks.

There is no shame for the American National Hockey Team. They fought mightily, but Sidney Crosby did what you expect the best player on a team to do.
He won the game for Team Canada in Overtime. Final Score 3-2 — shots on goal were 39-36 for Team Canada. Roberto Luongo; Montreal area native, gets [...]

It’s show time. Today is where we separate the men from the over priced poofy NHL floaters. Today is not a game 7 Stanley Cup game; it’s not even close; but it’s good practice and as far as some great players who play for not so great teams may ever get.
All of the roster [...]

Last night he [...]
