Cornwall OSPCA Cat Adoption Sale a Huge Success! 20+ cats find new home!

I spent some time this morning with Julie Roy of the Ontario SPCA SD&G Branch here in Cornwall.    She gave me the tour and we talked about the recent Half Price promotion that found homes for over 20 cats.   I’m not a fan of shelters that are not “No Kill” but was very impressed by the staff today.

Here are some pets looking for a home.   I felt like taking one home myself, but with 3 dogs and 2 cats we have a full house (pardon the pun!)

spdog Lotus is a 3 year old Black Lab mix.   What a sweetie she is.   A real bundle of energy, but one that will make a super family pet and wear the kids out; especially if you have a big yard or farm for her to run in.

spcat Gabby is quite the little lady.   She’s 1 year old and very cuddly and friendly.

spbunny Captain Crunch is a 2 year old Rex mix who is quite docile as you can see from the photo.

Dogs and Cats come spayed/neutered and with all their shots except for rabies.    Check out the shelter at 550 Boundary Road in Cornwall or on their website www.sdg.ontariospca.ca.   You can also email them at sdg@ospca.on.ca and by phone 613.936.0072

They are always looking for donations from pop cans to cash!
