Do you know how much electricity you consume in your own home? Cornwall Public Library along with partner Cornwall Electric bring you the Watt Reader Program, a program that lets you borrow a small meter in which you plug in your electrical appliance and get a read on the actual cost of running your appliance.

Identifying the source of your electrical costs is an easy first step in reducing high energy bills. When borrowing the meter from the library you also receive brochures with useful energy conservation tips as well as a free energy efficient spiral light bulb, courtesy of Cornwall Electric.

Return the meter, keep the rest.
