Habs Win for Carey Price – 2-1 over TB – Sens Lose at Home – Leafs Lose Again – December 31, 2009

The Montreal Canadiens were actually not out shot last night as they beat Tampa Bay 2-1 in OT.   Habs goals were from Brian Gionta and Tomas Plekanec who no longer plays like a “Little Girl.”

Carey Price got the win and probably the next start against Florida.

Marty Brodeur, the greatest goalie ever, even better than Patrick Roy, was chosen to the Canadian Olympic team.  He shut out Pittsburgh again too, which has to burn those Penguins mightily.

OLYMPIC ROSTER Canada has to again be the odds on favorite to win Gold in Vancouver in spite of  strong Russian squad.   I just can’t see this team losing.   It’s a sick line up.   The only weakness I see are those Play off choke on yogurt types Joe Thornton from San Jose.

No Habs were selected for the Canadian team which is probably good considering the injuries the team has had to deal with this year.
