Judge Judy Beating Oprah in Ratings War – Will Kitty Kelley Tell All Help Ratings? Cornwall Ontario – April 14, 2010

Cornwall ON – My wife loves Judge Judy.  I kinda think she’s a raging banshee who doesn’t seem to actually judge many cases on the show based on “legal” interpretation, but it can be fun to watch her lash into some of the more dubious people that enter her “court”.

The hot news is that she’s been beating Oprah of all people in television ratings.

In the back and forth battle between Oprah and Judge Judy for daytime supremacy,  Judge Judy won for the second week in a row.  Prior to Ms. Winfrey’s recent winning streak of three weeks, Judge Judy had a 10 week run of winning.

It should be interesting to see if the new tell a lot if not all book about Oprah written by Kitty Kelley has any impact on the talk show Queen’s ratings?

Vernon reserves his harshest words for Winfrey’s best friend, Gayle King, who put the kibosh on a biography he was working on.

Calling her a “dirt hog” and “street heifer,” he blames King for a rift in his relationship with Oprah.

“She’s become too close to that woman Gayle,” he says.

King and others in Oprah’s entourage worked hard to keep a tight grip on employees in order to keep her out of the tabloids.

Now that’s some serious smack.    The book also posts some lurid entries about Oprah playing snuggle toes with John Tesh and sending Diamond Toe Rings to Diane Sawyer.

Why are people idolizing Judge Judy? Don’t they know they can go to hell for that, I mean come on, we have snapping turtles, seals, fish, marriage, and the human population growth, that are more important to think about… lol.. 😉

Neither. I prefer reruns of Murder She Wrote.
