Cornwall ON – A crowd of 150 energetic people, music fans and Liberal Party supporters, attended the first ever Liberalpalooza in support of SDSG Liberal Candidate Bernadette Clement.

According to event organizer Tracy Champagne, the purpose of Liberalpalooza “is all about getting younger people involved and music is one way to do that”.

At one point in the evening musician Joel Sauve did a rock and roll cover of Michael Jackson’s hit song “Beat it”. Bernadette Clement, Tracy Champagne, and former Liberal Candidate Tom Manley were all dancing!

Tom Manley thinks very highly of the current SDSG Federal Liberal Candidate. He says,

“Bernadette Clement is very personable, she’s an excellent candidate, a professional, and her experience with city council is great”.

I asked Clement how her city council experience might help her if she is elected as a Member of Parliament.

“City council is a great experience, I learned about research, communicating with the public. You get close to the people and learn a lot about the community, and what the real issues are”.

It’s not just Liberal politicians who support Clement. In the words of musician Graham Greer, “I believe in Bernadette Clement. She is an awesome person. I see her doing positive things for our community”.

Graham Greer, Sara Murphy, The Trench town Oddities, Melanie and the General Electryk, and Joel Sauve rounded out the evening of entertainment.

Liberalpalooza put the party back into Liberal Party. I think the evening can be summed up by Joel Sauve’s cover of “Keep rocking in the free world”.

Young people between the ages of 20 to 30 years of age were involved at the G-20 summit over the weekend. Most of these innocent young people found out that they have no rights under King Stephens Capatilisic Facist rule. All parties say they want Canada’s youth to get involved in politics. However, only if they are invovled with said party. Until politicians start serving the people who do elect them, voting numbers will remain between 50 and 60 percent. Democracy as we knew it is now gone.

Morning Willie. Democracy is alive and well. It’s just practiced differently. I’ve been complaining around here asking “where are the young activists”? I saw them on the weekend and I’m not talking about the cowardly ones with masks on.

Queen’s park was filled with young people. From wanting Fluoride free water to Oxfam, students wanting better financing to just protesting by dancing to the beat of drums under a tree. It gave me some hope. It’s a shame you didn’t get down to see it as I have a hunch you would’ve loved it!

  3. Admin, I watched for hours on all news networks. I felt shame for our country.

Well Willie, The Cornwall Free News & Seawayradio.com are mainstream media and we certainly didn’t focus on the slim window of violence. I took video walking through the actual protest. Like a good Montreal driver I went the wrong way down a one way street and you can hear, see, and feel what the real rally was like.

You seem to miss one very important perspective on this so called new democracy. They have the public so divided on issues that there is no way to stop the man.

Democracy and the ability to stand for anything has done this. We must have one topic, one directive and one goal.

Once that has been achieved we move onto the next. Right now we are in a huge mess all stemming from Trudeau’s liberal charter of rights. If I may add with out obligations

Being in the media you too are a huge part of this devastation.

“Think of the press as a great keyboard
on which the government can play.”
    Joseph Goebbels

  6. Did they even have keyboards in Joseph Goebbels time? There certainly were no computers in the 40’s

  7. Denken Sie an die Presse als eine große Tastatur, auf der die Regierung spielen kann,

    Können Sie, besser jetzt verstehen.

“Think to the press as a large keyboard, on which the government can play,
ability you better now, for understanding.” so smee why are you typing in German today?

  9. Wir denken und wir verstehen alles smee

  10. jetzt und?

Sorry admin is there a problem with posting in German?

  11. There’s gotta be an answer to this somewhere in this danged book…. Here it is..
“And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him”(Jude 14-15).
This, of course, is a clear message from God that posting in German is punishable by burning in hell for eternity.
Be prepared – you have been warned!

  12. Pastor Tom are you prepared? He is coming for you.

  13. Dang! I thought Jude had the answer.
