Our 1 Millionth Page View – Thank you Cornwall and Canada! – Cornwall Ontario – October 3, 2010

Cornwall ON – 1,001,534 is just a number.   It’s a number though that we’re very proud of, and we couldn’t of reached the 1 Million page view mark without the support of all of you, the 20,000+ viewers per month that visit the Cornwall Free News and of course our fine sponsors without whose support there’d be nothing to view!

On October 26, 2009 we celebrated our 100,000th page view.   In November we updated the Cornwall Free News to our current format and it’s been a fun ride since there.

I want to thank some of our original early sponsors who’ve stuck with us since the beginning; Coffeys Coffee, Island Inkjet, Pommier Jewellers, Homestead Organics, Tron Data, Schnitzels, Laura’s Flowers & Fine Gifts, Cornwall Lighting, Laurier Electric, and Bugaboos House of Pets.

I also want to thank all of our contributors who help write, photograph, listen, and keep me from giving up in those darkest of moments, and share the really good ones.   Jason, Paul, Reg, Chris, Keith, Joe, Denis, Richard, Jacquie, Lorna, David, Roger, Kevin, Marcus, Marina, Vanessa, Jan, Jim, Dael, and of course my wife for putting up with an incubating company that takes her husband’s time!

Every milestone I like to sit back, take a deep breath and look at how we’re doing and what we can do to improve our service to you our ever growing and changing readership.

According to the numbers about 55% of you who view us are women with the 25-34 age bracket being our largest.    Along with Seawayradio.com we hope that you’ll continue to let us know what you want to see and keep emailing those suggestions in to info@cornwallfreenews.com

Cornwall is a community in change.   Things are growing here; they’re changing, and we hope to continue to be a part of those changes and improvements.

We’re focused on the goal, and while there will be faces that come and go we’ll make sure to continue to bring you our special brand of news, information, entertainment, politics, sports, gossip, and more.
