Cornwall ON – Here is your police blotter for Cornwall Ontario on Monday October 26, 2010.

DRUGS

Cornwall, Ont. – Philippe Charlebois, 23, of Cornwall was arrested on the 25th of October, 2010 following a routine traffic stop.  It is alleged that he was located in possession of drugs, believed to be marijuana.  He was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and was released to appear in court on the 23rd of November, 2010 to answer to the charge.

OVER .80 and BREACH OF UNDERTAKING

Cornwall, Ont. – Blake Harvey Francis, 18, of Akwesasne was arrested in the early hours of October 26th, 2010 for Over .80.  He was bound by an Undertaking Order with a condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour.  It is alleged that he had operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.  He was arrested for Over .80 and escorted for testing.  He further faces 1 count of Breach of Undertaking.  He was later released to appear in court later that day.

WARRANT

Cornwall, Ont. – Jeffrey Arthur Adams, 43, of Cornwall was arrested by the O.P.P. on the 22nd of October, 2010 on the strength of a warrant.  On July 8th, 2010, it is alleged that he  breached his Conditional Sentence Order by failing to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour, failing to remain under house arrest, failing to remain within the Province of Ontario and further by failing to have in his possession more than five cartons of cigarettes at a time.  A warrant for his arrest was requested on the 09th of July, 2010.  He was stopped by a member of the Ontario Provincial Police and turned over to the Cornwall Community Police Service.  He was held in custody until court on the 26th of October, 2010.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, Ont. – A 33 year-old Cornwall male was arrested in the early hours of October 23rd, 2010.  It is alleged that during an argument with his 24 year-old girlfriend he grabbed her upper arm area.  The victim did not require medical attention at the time of the incident.  Police were contacted and an investigation resulted in the male facing 1 count of Assault.  He was held in custody until court on the 25th of October, 2010.  His name is not being released as it may identify the victim in this incident.

BREAK AND ENTER

Cornwall, Ont. – The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred between 09:00 and 01:00 p.m. on the 25th of October, 2010 at a Fennell Crescent home.  The suspect(s) gained entry through a broken rear window and stole ornaments and groceries.  If you have any information regarding this break and enter, please contact the service by dialing (613) 932-2110.

BREAK AND ENTER

Cornwall, Ont. – The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred between 03:30 and 05:30 p.m. on the 25th of October, 2010 at an Easton Street residence.  The suspect(s) gained entry through the front door.  The suspect(s) stole a computer charger, a DVD, a black VCR and black Camcorder.  If you have any information regarding this break and enter, please contact the service by dialing (613) 932-2110.

THEFT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

Cornwall, Ont. – The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating the theft of a white 2000 Ford F-150 pick-up truck from an Augustus Street parking lot on October 26th, 2010.  The commercial vehicle has a tonneau cover on the truck box and contained a large quantity of tools.  If you have any information regarding this theft, please contact the service by dialing (613) 932-2110.

BREAK AND ENTER

Cornwall, Ont. – The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred in the early hours of October 23rd, 2010 at a Marleau Avenue business.  Police allege that the suspect(s) gained entry by breaking a glass door to an adjoining business.  The suspect(s) then broke through a wall to gain entry into the victim’s business and stole cash.  If you have any information, please contact the service by dialing (613) 932-2110.
