2011 Winter Fun Week – St. Lawrence River Institute of Environmental Sciences – March 14-18, 2011 – Cornwall Ontario

Cornwall ON – Wondering what to do with the kids during March Break?  The St. Lawrence River Institute of Environmental Sciences suggests the Cooper Marsh Winter Fun Week, a fun, interactive daily program for children aged 6 to 11.  Sign up for the full week, or choose the day that interests you most.

Activities will include snowshoeing, sledding, games, arts and crafts, and magic tricks.  Participants will learn about the environment, recycling, animal adaptations in winter, and animal tracks in snow.  Every camp day will include indoor and outdoor activities for a full day of learning and fun!

The daily themes are:  Monday, March 14 – Scientist for a Day; Tuesday, March 15 – Survivor; Wednesday, March 16 – Flying Wild; Thursday, March 17 – Hocus Pocus Science; Friday, March 18 – Animal Mania.

Thanks to a partnership with the Cooper Marsh Conservators and the Raisin Region Conservation Authority, all camp sessions are provided by the River Institute, and held at the Cooper Marsh Interpretive Centre.  The cost for the full week is $150 per child, or $30 per day.
