Cornwall ON – In Cornwall, over 1000 adults and children turn each month to Agapè’s food bank in need of assistance and they come from a variety of backgrounds and personal situations.

A week ago, the Agapè Center received a van full of food donated by an incredible kid named Connor.

“The donation is marvelous.” Alyssa Blais, Executive Director for the Agapè Center “We’ve been buzzing around our offices in joy. He’s our little champion.”

Connor Hum liked the idea of giving to people who are less fortunate than himself. For his 8th  birthday party, in lieu of gifts, Connor asked that his friends bring a non-perishable food donation tobe donated to Agapè’s local food bank. He has definitely made many local people less hungry. His kindness and compassion were truly noted by the staff at the Agapè Center.

”We need young people like Connor, “ says Alyssa Blais, Executive Director. “Connor is a fantastic young man. We thank him so much for his gift to the Centre.” Lori Greer, Operations Manager.

The Agapè Centre is a non profit organization that is all about “Local People Helping Local People”and Connor’s generous donation will go a long way to help local people in need.
