Cornwall ON – For we Canadian fans we’re only coming to grips with Maggie Jones passing and the end of Blanche Hunt’s character.
It’s the usual Corrie event. Holiday’s, Weddings, Funerals; they can’t happen without something fun happening and sure enough Tracy Barlow’s furlough from prison where she’s serving for Murdering former builder and lotario Charlie Stubbs is no different.

Corrie’s always had your crazed bad girls, and they usually are married or connected to Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson).
I don’t want to give too much away for those of you that wait until Sunday to watch the episodes, but it’s worth the watch for many reasons.

Watching Deidre Barlow (Anne Kirkbride) perform the Eulogy it was odd realizing how long I, like so many of you have been watching this show and watching the actors age before us…some great writing and if you miss the show live on CBC you can catch the podcast on the CBC WEBSITE.

I see a need to develop a deprogramming protocol or at least an intervention procedure. Admin will be our first victim…. ah client. Yah, that’s it, client. I’m thinking of 24 hours of Rick Mercer reruns and actually going to a pond hockey tournament, you know outside. The Republic of Doyle can be substituted for Rick Mercer every couple of hours.
As bad as Rick Mercer reruns would be; Little Mosque on the Prairie would be much worse! 🙂

As it happens Reg, both the admin and I watch Coronation Street religiously so it is of interest.
