Wow, that was fast. Glad he turned himself in.

  2. Maybe, since he’s homeless, he wanted a nice warm place to sleep with three squares per day for the rest of the winter and then some.

  3. There were better things he could have done with his courage. But then, he was an idiot…and the note…premeditation.

  4. Oh definitely premeditated. Apparently from what I’ve heard, someone was talking about robbing the bank in the food court because they had legal problems or something. Probably the same guy. Hence why with so many people that heard about this story, no doubt he turned himself in.

  5. The idiot has a huge tattoo up the side of his neck. HELLO? He might as well just give them his name with a thing like that to identify him.

  6. That’s not the way we rob banks. Slim and I have a much less dramatic method. We bought two houses. One on Louisa. One on Walton. We set up a real estate holding company and mortgaged the houses for 6.3 million dollars to the Third National Orphans & Widows Trust. We put the mortgage money into counterfeit Argentina Treasury Bills. We then convert the T-Bills into Icelandic Banker’s Trust Bonds. The interest on the Iceland Bonds goes back to pay the mortgage on the original loan. The trick is to go belly up, with the Trust holding bucket shop paper and shell company pink sheets. Normally, after that, we would sell the Bonds on the corner of 2nd and Pitt to the Grey Panthers for counterfeit $2.00 bills, however the new surveillance cameras there have frustrated the plethora of white collar, wheel chair crime gangs that were operating the street. Stay tuned for further notice. We may re-locate to the L.C.B.O. parking lot. We will drink Champagne at dawn and sell futures contracts on Canadian Tire money. It’s easy money, Admin. Real easy, Slim said we could let you and Grimalot in on it early if you bring cash.

  7. Would you prefer this guy break into your mother or grandmothers house and steal her money.
What he did is totally agains,t the law and he will pay the price.Wish the banks would have to pay the price for stealing everyone,s money.

  8. Dear Slim and Dan. Welcome to the club. I was going to sell junk bonds and some below standard concrete contracts on the corner of 2nd and Pitt. Then I was going to try and influence court house lawyers. But I was too scared of the newly mounted surveillance cameras to engage in white collar crimes. I was going to move the operation to Montreal Road and sell some re-zoning tips out of the trunk of my car but found out, just in time, that there was video surveillance there as well. Boy, those cameras really do prevent malfeasance. Maybe I’d have better luck moving these carbon tax credits in Smith Falls.

  9. …for $750 plus parts and labour I can install a water filtration device on your kitchen tap.
