Habs Eliminate Devils in 3-1 win on 2 Darche Goals – Leafs Beat Sens 4-2 NHL SCORES – April 3, 2011 – Cornwall Ontario

Cornwall ON- PK Subban and Matt Darche came ready to play as the Habs bested New Jersey 3-1.   Carey Price was still in net for Montreal and only faced 21 shots.  Darche hit the back of the net twice and Subban once.

Jason Spezza scored twice for Ottawa, but that was all the offence the team would get as the Toronto Maple Leafs doubled the Sens for a 4-2 Leaf Win.

Phil Kessel scored is 30th joined by rookie Nazim Kadri, Tyler Bozak, and Nikolai Kulemn.

It was the first game for Sens Parisien import Right Winger, Stephane Da Costa.

In other NHL games the Bruins beat Atlanta 3-2; it was Tampa Bay over Minnesota 3-1; Detroit edged Nashville 4-3; LA crowned Dallas 3-1; Carolina kept their dream alive doubling the Islanders 4-2; Washington need OT to overcome Buffalo 5-4; the Penguins pecked the Panthers 4-2;Edmonton ruined Vancouver’s night 4-1 in Vancouver, and San Jose dined on Duck 4-2.  It was Ray Emery’s first loss on the season after 6 wins.
