Cornwall Ontario Police Holding “Police Chief For a Day” Contest for Grade 5 Students!

Cornwall ON – As part of Police Week 2011, the Cornwall Community Police Service is holding its’ Second Annual “Chief for the Day” contest to grade 5 students.  The students are asked to submit two paragraphs detailing why they think that they should be chosen and what they would change if chosen as Chief for the Day.

Ryan Tutton, a student from Vincent Massey Public School was the lucky recipient last year and enjoyed the experience.  Once again, the successful student will have the opportunity to spend time with the Chief, receive photos and souvenirs of his/her special day and meet with the Cornwall Community Police Service staff.   This opportunity is of benefit to both the chosen student and to staff who see the excitement and enthusiasm displayed by the selected learner.
