Hawks Force Game 7 – Beat Canucks 4-3 in OT – Philly beats Buffalo 5-4 – NHL Play Off Round Up – April 25, 2011 – Cornwall Ontario

Cornwall ON – If Chicago comes back from 3 games to 0 Dave Bolland is quickly becoming a reason why.  With 6 points in 3 play off games he’s become the thorn in Vancouver coach Alan Vignault’s side.

Vancouver changed goalies replacing former captain Roberto Luongo for Cory Schneider.   Chicago has all the momentum now for game 7.

Nashville is going to the second round of the play offs for the first time as they cooked  the Anaheim Ducks in OT after former Hab captain Saku Koivu took a penalty.   Nick Spalling and Jordin Tootoo led the way with 2 points each.  Tootoo, from Churchill Manitoba now has 5 points and 22 Penalty minutes in 6 play off games.

Philly beat Buffalo 5-4 in OT to force a game 7.   The Flyers are still juggling and rotating goalies, but Ville Leino put the game winner in and off to game 7 they go.

Today it’s Pittsburgh at Tampa Bay and San Jose at Los Angeles.
