Habs 2010-2011 Over after Nathan Horton OT Winner – NHL Play Offs – April 27, 2011 – Cornwall Ontario

Cornwall ON – It’s over.   Montreal gave up a Nathan Horton goal in OT in game seven and the Boston Bruins go on to the next round of the play offs after their 4-3 win.

It wasn’t in spite of effort, but the injury depleted Habs just didn’t have enough to get inside Boston’s kitchen.

Even Mr. Subban’s game tying goal, which was probably one of the best of the play offs so far this season, was from the perimeter.

Montreal now gets to play some golf and the team gets to look at its roster and think about the challenges of who to resign on defense and how to make the top six a stronger unit.

Kudos to les boys for a good season with some bright spots to look forward to the 2011- 2012 season.

Tampa Bay was ahead of Pittsburgh, 1-0 as of press time on a Sean Bergenheim goal.

  1. Boston can watch history repeat itself if they even take Philly to 7 this time. Boston does NOT get out of the 2nd round for sure and that will be revenge enough for me. And it is just as well cause there was not going to be a repeat VS. Wahington if we had of won. So see you next season when my AKW WARRIORS are back as well!!

  2. Habs need more acting classes. Try out for the swim team with those dives. Andy Ference said it best though. Single finger salute.
