CFN –  Here is your police blotter for the Cornwall Ontario area for Saturday May 14, 2011.

BREACH OF UNDERTAKING

Cornwall, Ont. – A 26 year-old Cornwall male was arrested on the 13th of May, 2011 for breaching his conditions.  He was bound by an Undertaking Order with conditions to Abstain from communicating directly or indirectly with a specific female or from attending her residence and to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour.  On of the offence date, it is alleged that the male was in the female’s company at her residence. Police attended the east end dwelling and observed the male leaving through a back door.  The male was located at another residence in the vicinity and arrested for 2 counts of Breach of Undertaking.  He was held in custody until court.  His name is not being released as it may identify the female in this incident.

 

 

IMPAIRED OPERATION, OVER .80 and DANGEROUS OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

Cornwall, Ont. – Kristian A. Renaud, 23, of Cornwall was arrested on the 13th of May, 2011.  It is alleged that while under the influence of alcohol, he operated a motor vehicle and struck a parked motor vehicle on Northwoods Crescent.  An off-duty police officer was in the area and stopped to investigate.  The Cornwall Community Police Service was contacted and the male was detained until a member of Community Patrol attended.  He was arrested for Impaired Operation of a Motor vehicle and transported for further testing which resulted in a charge of Over .80.  Further investigation resulted in the male facing 1 count of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.  He was released to appear in court on the 24th of May, 2011 to answer to the charges.

 

 

BREACH OF RECGONIZANCE

Cornwall, Ont. – A 37 year-old Cornwall female was arrested on the 13th of May, 2011 for breaching her conditions.  She was bound by a Recognizance Order with conditions to not have any contact with a specific male and to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour.   In the early hours of May 14th, 2010 it is alleged that the female contacted the male by telephone.  Police were contacted and an investigation resulted in the female facing 2 counts of Breach of Recognizance.  She was held in custody until court the following day.  Her name is not being released as it may identify the victim in this incident.

 

 

BREACH OF UNDERTAKING

Cornwall, Ont. – Timothy Fortin, of No Fixed Address, was arrested on the 14th of May, 2011 for breaching his conditions.  He was bound by an Undertaking Order with conditions to Abstain from the consumption of alcohol, to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour and to Notify the Cornwall Community Police Service of any change of address.  On the offence date, a member of Community Patrol alleges that he located the male walking on Montreal Road.  A check of the male uncovered that he was under the influence of alcohol, thus breaching a condition.  Further investigation resulted in the discovery that the male had failed to notify the Service of any change of address.  As a result, the male was arrested for 3 counts of Breach of Undertaking and held in custody until court.
