5th ANNUAL INGLESIDE FIREFIGHTER CHALLENGE – July 16, 2011 Ingleside Ontario

Ingleside ON – On July 16th, 2011 the Ingleside Firefighter’s Association will be hosting the 5th annual Ingleside Firefighter Challenge. Invitations are being sent to all neighbouring fire department in SD&G and area. Firefighters will go head to head in a test of skill, endurance and teamwork as they make their way through a skills course.

The challenge is meant to simulate the first couple of minutes of a fire andwill include such demonstrations as forcible entry, hose pulls, victim drag, ladder climbing & more. Family, and individuals are encouraged to attend the event and cheer on their fire department.

This event is being regarded as a family affair with a BBQ, mini kids challenge, kids activities, t-shirts, prizes, petting zoo and lots more.

The event will commence at 11:00am and run until late afternoon. Admission to the challenge is at no cost to the public. It will be located in Ingleside in front of the shopping centre.  All proceeds will go to the Ingleside Firefighters Association, which is a non-profit charity, & Canadian Cancer Society for breast cancer research.
