CFN – Pre season is done and it’s showtime this week as the Montreal Canadiens take on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Both teams have some injury issues, but the Habs always have the expectation to win.
They had a dismal pre season record; Andrei Markov, resigned to a $5.5M per year contract is still not back and there are some other minor injuries,but the team will need Carey Price to give them a repeat performance of last year.
The D for Montreal is missing Roman Hamrlik who signed within the conference with the Caps for a friendly $3.5M.
New addition Erik Cole will play his first game in the blanc, bleu, et rouges and Josh Gorges is back standing up for his new team mate Chris Campoli who was head shotted by Ryan Malone of Tampa Bay Saturday.

It should be interesting to see how many games Brendan Shanahan gives Malone for the clear head shot.
