WARRANT

 

            Cornwall, ON- Justin Ullman, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on the 10th of April, 2012 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on the 2nd of April, 2012 he failed to attend court and a bench warrant was issued. He turned himself into police and was held in custody until court later that day.

 

THEFT

 

            Cornwall, ON- Christopher Broome, 27 of Cornwall was arrested on the 10th of April, 2012. It is alleged that on the 10th of April, 2012 he attended a Second Street East store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the item. He was detained by the store’s Lost Prevention officer and turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division. He was charged with theft under $5000.00 and released to appear in court on the 8th of May, 2012.

ASSAULT

 

            Cornwall, ON- A 14 year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on the 11th of April, 2012. It is alleged that he got into an altercation with 32 year-old group home staff member when he assaulted him. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. The youth was charged with assault and released to an adult to appear in court on the 17th of May, 2012. The youth’s name was not releases as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

 

BREAK & ENTER

Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is currently investigating a break and enter that occurred between the 10th of April, 2012 and the 11th of April, 2012 at a Second Street East store. The suspect(s) gained entry to a vacant store and made a hole in the drywall to gain entry to a neighbouring store. They removed a variety of jewellery and an undisclosed amount of money. BREACH AND DRUG CHARGES

 

(South Glengarry) – On April 12, 2012 at approximately 10:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a dispute at a residence on Frog Hollow Road, South Glengarry Township. Investigation revealed a male had been in a verbal altercation with other occupants of the home and was in contravention of conditions set from a previous incident. Further details resulted in the discovery and seizure of 23 suspected marihuana plants (in various stages of growth – approximate value $150.00) being grown in the residence.

Jeremy ROZON (32) of North Glengarry was arrested and held in custody, pending a court appearance (bail) in Cornwall this date (13Apr12) charged with;

      • Fail to Comply with Recognizance (3 counts)
      • Breach of Probation
      • Production of a Controlled Substance

 

Carson REASBECK (57) of the above noted residence is charged with;

      • Production of a Controlled Substance

 

He is scheduled to appear in Alexandria court June 05, 2012.

WHEELS OFF TRATOR TRAILER RESULT IN CHARGES

 

(South Glengarry) – On April 12, 2012 at approximately 12:15pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a tractor trailer unit travelling east on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township in which it appeared a wheel assembly was defective. The unit was intercepted near the Lancaster exit and upon inspection, it was observed that a dual wheel assembly had become detached from the trailer portion.

The driver, Vimalsri VIMALAKULENDRAN (33) of Vaudreuil-Dorion Qc is charged with;

      • Operate Unsafe Combination of Commercial Vehicle

 

He is schedule to appear in Cornwall court on July 10, 2012.

The owner of the truck (a numbered company from Milton ON) also faces a charge of Permitting the Operation of an Unsafe Combination of Commercial Vehicle.
