Terry Fox Run – Sunday September 16th, 2012 – Alexandria Noon – 2 PM – Cornwall 7:30AM – Noon

CFN – This year marks the 32nd annual Terry Fox Run to be held in 900 communities across Canada on Sunday Sept 16th. To date, over $600 million has been raised to support Cancer Research.

Locally, runs are being held in Cornwall and Alexandria. Organizers Josée Sauvé and Doug Boeckh are hoping to make it their best runs yet and would invite all those interested to partake. In keeping with Terry Fox’s original wish to make it as inclusive as possible, there are no entry fees or minimum pledge amounts, but participants can go at their own pace and either make a personal donation or collect pledges from family and friends

As part of their advertising blitz, the famous Glengarry Rock was painted to broadcast the event. (see photo – pictured is Evan Boeckh who helped paint the rock)
