DOMESTIC ASSULT

Cornwall, ON- A 20-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 13th, 2012. He was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions to abstain from the purchase/possession/consumption of alcohol or other intoxicating substances and keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on October 13th, 2012, he got into an altercation with his 21-year-old girlfriend when he assaulted her. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault and 2 counts of Breach of Probation Order. He was held in custody until court on October 15th, 2012. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.

MISCHIEF

            Cornwall, ON- Jason Seguin, 30 of Cornwall was arrested on October 13th, 2012. It is alleged that since August 2012, police attended his residence numerous times regarding loud music complaints. He was issued several warnings as well as fines. Due to the ongoing complaints, he was charged with Mischief- interfere with any person enjoyment of property. He was released to appear in court on November 4th, 2012 to answer to the charge.

THEFT

            Cornwall, ON- Kellen Sunday, 28 of Cornwall was arrested on October 13th, 2012. It is alleged that on October 13th, 2012 he attended a Second Street store and removed property without making any attempts to pay for concealed items. He was detained by the store’s loss prevention officer and turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division. He was charged with Theft under $5000 and released to appear in court on November 13th, 2012.

BREACHES

            Cornwall, ON- An 18-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 13th, 2012. He was bound by a Recognizance with the conditions not be away from my residence except with surety or for school or work purposes. It is alleged that on October 13th, 2012 he was found by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division to be away from his residence without surety. He was charged with Fail to Comply with Recognizance and held in custody until court October 15th, 2012. His name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

BREAK & ENTER ARREST

            Cornwall, ON- A 36-year-old women was arrested on October 13th, 2012. It is alleged that she attended her 36-year-old ex-wife’s residence, gained entry and removed property. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with Break & Enter and commit theft. She was released to appear in court on November 20th, 2012. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim.

BREACHES & DRUGS

Cornwall, ON- Joel Blanchard, 31 of Montreal, Quebec, was arrested on October 14th, 2012. He was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions to abstain from the consumption of alcohol, abstain from the possession of drugs except in accordance with a medical prescription and Keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on October 14th, 2012 he was located by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division to be under the influence of alcohol. He was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance believed to be oxycodone. He was charged with 3 counts of Breach of Probation Order and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was released to appear in court on November 3rd, 2012.

 DOMESTIC ASSAULT & ASSAULT WITH WEAPON

            Cornwall, ON- A 32-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 14th, 2012. He was bound by a Probation Order with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on October 14th, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 31-year-old common-law wife when he threw an ash tray at her and assaulted her. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault, Assault with Weapon and Breach of Probation Order. He was held in custody until court on October 15th, 2012. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

DRUGS

 

 

Cornwall, ON- A 16 year old Cornwall youth was arrested on the 11th of October 2012. It is alleged that on the 11th of October he was stopped by police and found to be in possession of approximately 5g of a substance believed to be marijuana. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and was later released to appear in court on 15 November 2012.

 

 

WARRANT

 

 

Cornwall, ON- Philip Yade, 22 of Cornwall was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that between the 1st of February 2012 and the 22nd of June 2012, he failed to report as required and failed to participate in a rehab program. He was held in custody until court the following day.

 

 

THEFT UNDER

 

Cornwall, ON- Bradley Johnson, 39 of Cornwall was arrested on the 11th of October 2012. He was bound by the provisions of two separate undertakings, both with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on the 11th of October he was stopped by police on a traffic stop and the investigation revealed that he was in possession of stolen merchandise from a local grocery store. He was subsequently charged with Possession of Property Obtained by crime and two breaches of undertaking. He was held in custody to appear in court the following day.

 

 

BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON- Claude Menard, 30 of Cornwall was arrested on the 11th of October 2012. He was bound by the conditions of an undertaking with the relevant condition to abide by a curfew of 10pm-6am. It is alleged that on the 10th of October he was stopped by police on a routine traffic stop after 10pm. An investigation ensued and the male was subsequently charged with breach of undertaking and released to appear in court on the 4th of December 2012.

(South Stormont) – On 14Oct12, at approximately 2:30am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on County Road 18, South Stormont Township.

The investigation revealed that a male and his 53yr old girlfriend were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the female assaulting the male.

She was arrested and faces charges of:

– Assault
– Sexual Assault

She is scheduled to appear 23Oct12 in Cornwall court.
(South Stormont) – On 12Oct12, at approximately 3:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Kent Crescent, South Stormont Township.

The investigation revealed that a female and her 38yr old boyfriend were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the male damaging the residence and taking the females vehicle without her permission.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

– Mischief Under $5,000
– Take Motor Vehicle without Consent

He is scheduled to appear 20Nov12 in Cornwall court.
(South Dundas) – On 13Oct12, at approximately 5:30am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Victoria Park Crescent, South Dundas Township.

The investigation revealed that a male and his 41yr old common-law wife were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the female assaulting the male.

She was arrested and faces a charge of:

– Assault

The male was found to be breaching his earlier release conditions and faces charges of:

– Breach of Probation Order x3

Both are scheduled to appear 23Oct12 in Cornwall court.
COLLISION LEADS TO ARREST

(South Stormont) – On 13Oct12, at approximately 4:30am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on County Road 36, South Stormont Township.

The investigation revealed that an 18yr old male driver (Liam MCDONALD of South Stormont) was operating a 2004 Honda on County Road 36 when he lost control and went into the ditch. Further investigation revealed that the male had taken the vehicle without the owner’s permission.

He was arrested and faces a charge of:

– Take Motor Vehicle without Consent

He is scheduled to appear 27Nov12 in Cornwall court.
RACING LAW INFRACTIONS
